Kenzan Pin Straightener
This tool is designed to straighten bent pins on a kenzan (flower pin frog). By switching the tip, you can also use it as a cleaning pick to remove debris caught between the pins.
The main use is as a kenzan straightener.
1. Straightening bent pins
Use the straw-shaped hollow tip at the end.
-
Place the hollow, straw-like tip over the bent pin of the kenzan.
-
Gently lift or adjust the angle of the pin until it stands straight.
2. Cleaning between the pins
In many cases, you can also use this tool as a cleaning pick by reversing the tip.
-
Loosen or remove the small screw at the tip and reattach the straw-shaped part facing the opposite direction.
-
Use the sharp, wire-like cleaning end (or the separate cleaning pick, if included) to scrape out and remove plant debris or dirt stuck between the kenzan pins.
