These are handmade (forged) pruning shears.

It has a sharp cutting edge like a kitchen knife and is also highly durable, making it ideal for pruning branches and plants.

The grip shape, an original design by Toyama Hamono, continues to receive high support from users for its ease of grip. The black color of the grip is colored by "baking" in a special heating furnace, and no chemicals used in general painting are used. It has a natural finish and is made using environmentally friendly manufacturing methods. This product also has genuine leather wrapped around the handle, which provides an even better grip than regular products.

Storage Instructions

Rust and dirt on the main unit will cause a decrease in its original functionality and quality. We recommend that you regularly remove dirt and use the product in an environment and manner that will prevent rust.

After use, we recommend wiping off any dirt or moisture on the body (especially the blade) and storing it in a scissors bag, toolbox, or indoors. Using knife oil (cooking oil is fine) when wiping off dirt will protect the scissors and make them less likely to rust.

*We also sell special maintenance products that can thoroughly remove dirt and rust.

Handling Instructions

This product is a gardening tool. It cannot be used to cut anything other than plants. In addition, even if it is a plant, if you try to cut dry wood that does not retain moisture, bamboo, or cold, hard wood in cold regions, it may break, so please be careful when using it.

*Do not cut artificial flowers, wire, or plastic.
