These are handmade (forged) pruning shears.

It features a sharp cutting edge like a kitchen knife, and is also highly durable, making it ideal for pruning bonsai, flowers, and indoor plants, as well as cutting into fretwork. The distinctive tapered blade fits into gaps and is useful for cutting into small details. The black color of the grip is colored by "baking" in a special heating furnace, and no chemicals used in general painting are used. It has a natural color and is made using an environmentally friendly manufacturing process.
