Furoshiki Gift Wrap
For gifts, we wrap your order in a furoshiki, a square of cloth that has been used in Japan for centuries to carry and present items with care. Each piece is wrapped by hand in a 48 × 48 cm (about 19 × 19 in) cloth and tied with a traditional knot, so it arrives ready to give.
To keep the cloth clean on its journey, we place the wrapped gift in a clear plastic sleeve before shipping. Simply remove the sleeve, and the furoshiki is ready to hand over.
After the gift is opened, the furoshiki can be kept and reused as a wrap, a bag, or a table cloth. A gift that keeps on giving, in the most practical sense.
